Dr. Lennie Waite to Visit with Regis & TTi

Dr. Lennie Waite, Sports Psychologist and former Olympian will work with the Regis Boys team and TTi Membership Monday 29th October 2018.

Dr. Lennie Waite is a Sport Psychology Consultant with a passion for helping athletes develop and fine-tune their mental performance skills. Waite attended Rice University from 2004-2009, where she played soccer and ran cross country and track. Waite left Rice as a two-time All-American, an Academic All-American, and a top 10 finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award. Upon graduation, she received two post-graduate scholarship from Conference USA and the NCAA to help her pursue her PhD in Psychology at the University of Houston, which she completed in May, 2012.
As a post-collegiate, Waite continued to train as a professional steeplechaser, and she competed in many international competitions around the world. She represented Great Britain at the World University Games (2011), European Team Championships (2013, 2014, 2015, 2017), European Championships (2016), the Olympic Games (2016), and the World Championships (2017). She also represented Scotland in three Commonwealth Games (2010, 2014, 2018).
Waite works with athletes of all ages and abilities to help them achieve their performance goals. Her contact with youth, high school, collegiate, professional, recreational, and master’s athletes provides her with a wide audience to share her performance knowledge, and passion for the sports with. She is an active member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and is a licensed Certified Mental Performance Coach (CMPC).
