TTi Sports Scientist Completes NAIA Season at UST

December 4th 2018

TTi Coach Ed Shone was on the womens soccer staff for University of St Thomas Celts, an NAIA school, for the fall of 2018.  During the season, UST secured their first ever Regular Season conference title with an unbeaten record (10-0-1).

The Celts season (12-3-1 overall) came to a close in the RRAC Semi finals at the hands of LSU-A who went on to the NAIA national tournament.

During the season, Ed was responsible not only for assisting on the field in practices and games, but also video analysis of games, GPS monitoring and assessment of games & player wellness observation.

“It was a pleasure to assist UST on their way to making school history in taking the regular season title.  The players were a pleasure to work with deserve a lot of credit for their achievements, a number were recognized by the RRAC for their performances throughout the season.  The team has a lot to build on as they transition into NCAA D3 play next season and the future for the program looks bright” Shone mused “Additionally, the experience will help hugely with my coaching at TTi; there are a number of players that would thrive at the college level and perhaps we will see some TTi players in a St Thomas uniform in the future” The Assistant Coach finished.

TTi will welcome in UST as part of their College Spring Series in the Spring!
