WPSL Bluebonnets Mason Portlaski as Assistant Coach

Western Illinois Assistant Coach, Mason Portlaski will join the Bluebonnets Coaching staff for 2018.
Mason commented on his appointment "I would like to thank Lee and everyone at TTi for presenting me with this opportunity to join the Bluebonnets coaching staff for the upcoming WPSL season. This will be a great opportunity to work on a daily basis alongside an experienced and talented staff as well as a group of high level players. I am looking forward to getting down to Houston and getting started with what I hope will be a very successful season".
"We are delighted to add Mason to the Staff" said TTi Sporting Director, Lee Cullip "having a staff dedicated to women's football and the team is paramount to the teams success" Cullip concluded.
Portlaski also assisted with the Washington State men’s soccer club from 2015-17, where they won the 2016 West Coast Soccer Association Conference championship and reached the regional quarter finals.
He also helped coach club teams in Pullman, Wash., and Moscow, Idaho, for the past three years during his time at Washington State, with ages ranging from U10-U18. Portalski played collegiately at Whittier College in Whittier, Calif., where he was a goalkeeper for the men’s team from 2012-13.
Portalski earned his B.S. in Kinesiology at Washington State University in 2017 and is pursuing his master’s in Sport Management at Western Illinois.
TTi are due to announce their WPSL Head Coach this coming week.
