David Puro Joins as TTi WPSL Head Coach from Manchester City F.C.

David Puro (Pictured with 2018 F.A. Youth Cup) will join as TTi's WPSL Head Coach for the 2018 Season. David's contract will run through 2021.

Recently of Manchester City F.C. in England where David lead the U16 Manchester City F.C. Ladies to the F.A. Youth Cup Puro is excited to be joining TTi.

"It's a new and exciting challenge for me. I have loved my time with Manchester City and look forward to the challenge of the WPSL. Having lived and worked in the United States before I am looking forward to returning to to the States" Puro said "TTi had a wonderful inaugural season and I look forward to working with the players this coming season, hoping we can achieve more professional contracts and go deeper into the play offs" Puro concluded.

"Well, we are just very happy to have a coach of such distinction, experience and value working at TTi" TTi Sporting Director Lee Cullip stated "Dave brings international experience with him and embodies the core values of TTi. We believe that Dave will be able to help to produce players and start to build on a solid reputation for women's football in Houston" Cullip finished.

David joins Mason Portlaski (Assistant) and Ed Shone (Sports Science) as the Head Coach of the WPSL Team.

The Women’s Premiere Soccer League strives to provide the highest level of developmental opportunities for amateur players in the United States. Entering its 21st season, the WPSL has grown to more than 100 clubs and is the largest women’s soccer league in the world. Team rosters consist of highly skilled players from collegiate, post-collegiate, international and standout prep athletes.

The team itself is shaping up nicely with returning players as well as new faces joining for 2018. Player will start to be announced in the coming weeks.
