4 Questions - A Soccer Enthusiast Series

December 19th 2020

A Note From the Sporting Director:

During my time in Barcelona I have had a chance to meet with some wonderful people in the Global football community. These conversations shape the future and present of TTi Soccer. I am fortunate that my paths have crossed with some wonderful people within the game on and off the field.

Most of my education in the game has not come directly from courses, but from conversations off the field. Getting to the “nuts and bolts” of what makes people in football tick. I have found many mirror my own love and passion for both teaching and the game itself.

I was very happy to be interviewed by FC Barcelona during the time I was there last about my experiences there and I had an in depth conversation with one of the FC Barcelona Studios managers in which he said “you should ask your friends to contribute to help the football community”. This in turn, spurred the concept of a small series of questions from some friends and colleagues in different areas and levels of the beautiful game.

I have limited it to a short read of 4 Questions (hence the title). This gives the reader some insight into the interviewee and provokes thought about the game.

I have been amazed at the genuine nature as much as the clarity of the answers. It should be noted that everyone I have asked has been happy to answer. It does show, despite what the media may imply at times that there is a genuine football community in the United States (and beyond) willing to give answers and share knowledge.

I hope you enjoy the series as we get to speak with, and not limited too; Isac Doru, Kean Lewis, Kristen Edmonds, Darren Back, Sam Laity, Tom Sermanni amongst others.

We thought we would start close to home with Jane Campbell!

I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I enjoyed asking the questions.

In Football,
