College Station - ODP Update

Lee Cullip took the 2005 Girls Group in College Station, TX this past Sunday.

Cullip, who has previously coached within ODP Programs has taken the role of Head Coach or the 2005 Girls team. Cullip reflected on the weekend “The group were there en masse in not the best of conditions” Cullip said “with that said they persevered and played some wonderful football at times on a tough synthetic surface, as we get closer to the regional pool selection it is becoming apparent that the selection will be tough with such a good group” Cullip concluded.

TTi Players were well represented at the ODP Event representing across both genders and several age groups. “It is great to see our players out at ODP representing both their clubs and TTi Soccer” Said Cullip.

Gareth Glick, South Texas Director of Player Development had the following to say of the group “The 2005 ODP girls met this weekend in San Antonio and continued to show improvement in their understanding of the ODP patterns of play under the guidance of TTi’s Lee Cullip and his assistant Rafael Reyna. We are excited to see their continued growth throughout this year” Glick finished.

The next event is March 1st in Round Rock, TX.

STX ODP seeks to identify elite players from all over the state with the intention of developing those players with supplemental training in a competitive environment while exposing them to opportunities for success at higher levels of competition.
