Todd’s article here also reminded me of my favorite movie “For Love of the Game” starring Kevin Costner who plays a 40 year old pitcher in his final game at Yankee Stadium. Its a wonderful movie with so many great moments in time. Without spoilers, he signs a baseball ‘for love of the game - Billy Chapel’

I wonder how many kids play for this reason above all else.

If we do not get ahold of the culture soon, there will be a drought of talent for years to come. I want to thank Todd for his quick response and allowing us to use his article.
