TTi Endorses STYSA Olympic Development Program
July 27th, 2020
Lee Cullip will be coaching within the program for the South Texas Olympic Development Team for a second season. He will resume his position as the 2005 girls head coach, with Ed Shone taking on boy’s goalkeeping as well as continuing with his role as Sports Scientist.
“Success is not in straight lines, so it is vital that players have several ports of call for footballing environments. Players need to have developmental pathways during their youth to ensure a well rounded opportunity for players to represent their State Assiciation and receive opportunities from training, through to talent ID for the United States National teams. TTi wholeheartedly endorses South Texas ODP for any player wishing to further themselves.”

Gareth Glick aims to build on a successful, but interuppted year in 2020 by challenging the structural norms and helping players to their successes.
“The Olympic Development Program aims to identify high potential players and facilitate their development using supplemental training with highly qualified coaches and elite competition in order to provide opportunities for exposure to professional and college pathways. Player identification events are open to any player that is driven to succeed at the highest level and willing to challenge themselves against other talented players in a competitive environment. We look forward to seeing all of the talented players from across South Texas at on of the ID events in August.”
