TTi Suffer Home Defeat

TTi Bluebonnets 2nd match of the season ended in defeat to AHFC Royal Wednesday night at SJCC.

In a night of set pieces, AHFC took the lead against the run of play through a wide set piece. The home side struggled to get the run of play against a defensively strong Albion side. 

Half-time changes saw the Bluebonnets draw level through a corner only to concede on the break 5 minutes later.

Debut goalkeeper Annabel Sweeney saw the scoreline stay modest with two brilliant saves from the opposition.

Despite pressure the Bluebonnets could not find the net in the final 20 minutes, even with Brooksby hitting the bar close to time. 

"It is a good, early lesson that our conference will provide no give matches, that everything has to be played and executed well" said Head Coach Dave Puro "Obviously we are a little disappointed in ourselves tongiht. We will continue to work to successfully defend our conference title and I am confident that we will do that" Puro concluded.

The Bluebonnets Host the Texas Titans on Saturday night at SJCC.
