Dave Puro Returns as WPSL Head Coach

WPSL South Conference Coach of the Year David Puro will return to defend the title for the 2020 Season. Dave currently serves as the Interim Academy Manager at Manchester City F.C. in England.

Puro (pictured above with the U16 Women’s F.A. Cup in 2019) said “I am delighted to rejoin TTi Soccer and would like to thank Owner Lee Cullip for this fantastic opportunity to again lead the Bluebonnets as we go in to the 2019 season” he continued “I am looking forward to working with all the TTi staff and players in delivering a quality product that will excite and inspire the Houston soccer community”.

Puro, who led the Bluebonnets to their second consecutive South Texas Conference Championship in 2020 has been working with Manchester City F.C. in England awaiting residency authorization.

Whilst there are several returning players, Puro has identified other players from the US and around the globe to join the squad in 2019.

“Dave is the very best” said Sporting Director, Lee Cullip “he is the epitome of what we believe a leader to be and showed that during his impressive first season at the helm of the senior side” Cullip concluded.

The Women will kick off their title defense in May 2019.
