January 10th 2020
Diana Redman joins TTi Soccer.
Diana Redman is a former Israeli National Soccer Team player with over 15 years professional playing experience. Diana now works as a Sport and Clinical Psychologist, specializing in Athlete Mental Performance and Postpartum Athlete Support.
Having played in the NCAA College System, Europe and in the USA, Diana has experience dealing with tough coaches, changing teammates, doubt, injury, cultural change, anxiety, depression, and much more. Through her life experience, Diana deeply understands how important the mental side of the game is.
“I am excited to give back to youth players. TTi Soccer is so unique in its approach to true player development. This means they look at the whole person. The staff do not overlook any piece that can help a player be successful - which is why I wanted to work with them” said Redman.
Diana believes an athlete's performance does not stop at physical training and benefits from mental exercise to improve toughness and self-awareness both on and off the field.
“We are over the moon to have Diana working with us. I first met Diana when I was the assistant coach for the Houston Dash. In 2019 she was part of the Bluebonnet squad. She had a positive yet competitive approach and obviously her playing background at every level is outstanding” TTi Sporting Director Lee Cullip said of the Israeli International.
At TTi Soccer, Diana will be implementing individual and group talks that guide athletes on how to effectively set goals, stay motivated, utilize visualization, deal with pressure, injury, and much more. With the understanding that emotional and mental stability are the base of a healthy and long playing career, Diana will guide athletes to explore their own thoughts and how thoughts affect their own playing.
We look forward to having Diana work with TTi Soccer. She can be reached at diana.redman@ttisoccer.com.
