TTi Soccer Announce Match Play Days

January 13th 2019

TTi Soccer announces Match Play Days for 2020.

Ina addition to a camp and clinic schedule (scroll down to see 2020 timeline) TTi Soccer will be adding “Match Play” days.

“We recognize the importance of match scenarios in the developmental path and these will add another important facet of development for our players and value to membership” said Matt Evans, TTi Soccer General Manager.

These matches will be played against locally based external competition (where possible). TTi will not be joining a league, only playing friendly matches for a developmental purpose for its members. The matches will be played in a realistic setting, including appropriate pitch size, game length and match officials will be used.

Games will typically be scheduled on Sundays throughout the year with the exception of the summer. Below are the dates that have been slated for the Match Play Days;

  • March 8th

  • May 3rd

  • May 17th

  • June 26th (Friday - During Summer)

  • July 31st  (Friday - During Summer)

  • September 13th

  • October 18th

  • November 8th

  • December 13th

TTi Soccer will be represented in the following age groups:

  • Preformation (8-11 Years) 3pm Kick Off

  • The Institute (12-13/14 Years) 4:30pm Kick Off

  • High School/College Process (14-17 Years) 6pm Kick Off

“We have never had the intention to join a league and will not go that route as an organization, but being able to schedule friendly matches gives us an opportunity to see the players in match play situations where, we as a staff can control the aspects of the game itself” said Lee Cullip, TTi Sporting Director “it really allows us to work within a match like environment and give real time feedback to the players in match situations” Cullip concluded.

We encourage players to sign up as soon as possible so that we can roster appropriately for the matches. This is imperative for the coaching staff's planning, organization and developmental purposes.

Certain games will be filmed and used for analysis particularly during camps weeks and during our new summer training program.

This is a new avenue that we are excited about as a coaching staff.

We hope you join us in our Match play Series for 2020.
